I actually just picked up the Chase Freedom Flex card. It gives 5% cashback in rotating categories each quarter, 3% back on dining and restaurants, 3% at drugstores, and 1% on everything else all for no annual fee! Also, you get a $200 cashback welcome bonus after spending $500 in the first 3 months which is pretty good.

A close runner-up is the American Express Gold Card, but this one has a $250 annual fee, though you get insane rewards such as a 60,000 welcome bonus after spending $4,000 in the first 6 months! 4X points in restaurants and supermarkets, 3X points on flights, and 1X points on everything else. This card is really a beast but it is expensive for the annual fee…
